Un vino opaco de color oscuro, los ribetes de color rubí con tonos ladrillados. Muy aromáticamente complejo mostrando ciruelas, moras, cerezas negras, regaliz, tierra quemada, setas, cuero, humo, clavo de olor, canela y notas débiles de vainilla. Denso y masticable en el paladar revelando ciruelas, cerezas negras, regaliz en el ataque, el paladar medio tiene cierta profundidad con guindas recubiertas de chocolate amargo, café, y acidez refrescante. El postgusto es de longitud moderada, emergen frutos oscuros, taninos de textura polvorienta que aun predominan. Esto parece un poco flojo y desarticulado por el momento, hay buena fruta y precisión aunque el vino parece estar ligeramente apagado.

An opaque dark colored wine with a ruby rim showing faint hints of bricking. Very aromatically complex showing hints plums, blackberries, black cherries, licorice, burnt earth, mushrooms, leather, smoke, cloves, cinnamon, and faint hints of vanilla. Dense and chewy on the palate revealing plums, black cherries, licorice on the attack, the midpalate has some depth with sour cherries coated in dark chocolate, espresso, and refreshing acidity. The finish is of moderate length filled with dark fruits, dusty tannins that are still quite prominent. This seems a bit flabby and disjointed at the moment, there is good fruit and focus though its slightly muted.

Opaco de tono oscuro mostrando ribetes de color violeta, la nariz revela aromas atractivos y exóticos. Al inicio emerge ciruelas, moras, arándanos, regaliz, alquitrán, flores silvestres, café espresso y especias dulces. En boca es un vino intenso y elegante con sabores a ciruelas dulces, zarzamoras, arándanos, que dan lugar a un paladar medio lleno de frambuesas, café tostado y chocolate amargo. El postgusto es de larga duración, repleto de frutas oscuras, especias dulces, pimienta negra, con leves toques de crema de vainilla, y taninos pulidos. De cuerpo medio a completo, textura sedosa, con equilibrio total entre la fruta dulce, acidez refrescante, y un gran esqueleto tánico.

An opaque brooding wine with a dark hue and vibrant violet rims, the nose is filled with alluring exotic aromas. The initial whiff reveals plums, blackberries, blueberries, licorice, tar, wild flowers, espresso, and sweet spices. On the palate the wine is intense yet elegant showing sweet plums, blackberries, blueberries, leading to a midpalate filled with raspberries, roasted coffee, and dark chocolate. The finish is long filled with sweet dark fruits, sweet spices, crushed pepper with hints of creamy vanilla, and polished tannins. This mid to full bodied wine with silky texture shows utter balance between ripe fruit that is kept in control by refreshing acidity, and a great tannic backbone.
